The Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program is the most common training pathway for doctors seeking to specialise as a general practitioner (GP) in Australia. It is an Australian Government-funded three-year, full-time (or part-time equivalent) program, with optional additional Rural Generalist training. Sapphire Coast Medical Practice is an accredited training post with both the RACGP and ACRRM and has been providing supervision, education, mentoring and oversight of AGPT Registrars for the past 20 years.
