South East Regional Hospital in Bega was officially opened in March 2016 and services the area from Mallacoota to Batemans Bay. It has a 24-hour emergency department, day surgery, medical and surgical inpatient beds, maternity, paediatrics, a critical care unit, operating theatres, renal dialysis, oncology, Hospital-in-the-Home, and a mental health unit.
